"Flu Relief"  It's Smart to Have it on Hand!

Here are a few tips and considerations for merchandising OTC items that offer relief from flu symptoms.

Consider how many different ways people  take medication.

A private label should be on your end-cap  however while suffering from the flu people are  apt to gravitate more to a highly advertised brand item.

First and foremost, create a sign that reads.  "Flu Relief"  It's Smart to Have it on Hand!

  • Have symptom relief medication in the forms of tablets, gel-caps, powder mix, liquid, lozenges and nasal spray.
  • Offer daytime, nighttime and combination day and nighttime choices.
  • Display fever reducing medication in the forms  of acetaminophen and ibuprofen.
  • Keep the shelves filled.
  • Have a clip strip of thermometers and medicine spoons.
  • Bottom shelf can be Kleenex.
  • Keep your Flu Prevention end-cap in close proximity to the relief display.
